What is Prayer? Prayer is communication with God or with others of the ascended realm; Prophets, Saints, Angels and other Spiritual Masters.

"Why should one Pray? Prayer keeps our link with God open, clear and clean. How does one Pray?  Praying is talking; you may want to talk aloud, quietly or in your mind. God has a way of hearing all prayers.  Is there a right way or a wrong way to Pray?  There is no right way or wrong way to pray to God. God just likes to hear from all of us. That is God’s job; God listens to prayers. Does God hear us when we Pray?  God hears all of us when we pray.  The more we pray the more God listens.  Why doesn’t God grant my prayer requests when I ask?  God knows what prayers to grant, when to grant prayer requests and when not to grant them.  Sometimes granting a prayer request may be good in the short term however it may not be good in the long term. God knows what is best.  That’s God job; that’s what God does.  How often should I Pray?  Pray every day.  It’s good to check in with God at least once a day. God worries about us.  What do we do when God grants us the request to our Prayers?  Thank God through prayer.  God likes to be appreciated." *

Thank you, Creator of the Universe, for the gift of life you have given me.  Thank you for giving me everything that I have ever truly needed.  Thank you for the opportunity to experience this beautiful body and this wonderful mind.  Thank you for living inside with me with all your love, with your pure and boundless spirit, with your warm and radiant light.

Thank you for using my words, for using my eyes, for using my heart to share your love wherever I go.  I love you just the way you are, and because I am your creation, I love myself just the way I am.  Help me to keep the love and the peace in my heart and to make that love a new way of life, that I may live in love the rest of my life.  Amen.

Soldier's Prayer - One

Almighty Father, Whose Command is over all and Whose Love never faileth, let me be aware of Thy presence and obedient to Thy will.

Keep me true to my best self, guarding me against dishonesty in purpose and in deed, and helping me so to soldier and to live so as to stand unashamed and unafraid before my fellow soldiers, my loved ones, and Thee.

Protect those in whose love I live.

Give me the will to do the work of a man and to accept my share of responsibilities with a strong heart and a cheerful mind.

Make me considerate of those entrusted to my leadership and faithful to the duties my country has entrusted to me.

Let my uniform remind me daily of the traditions
of the Service of which I am a part.

If I am inclined to doubt, steady my faith;

God our Father
Help me to remain true to my ideals during my service to my country.

Help me be what is in America, the land of the free.

May I realize that I represent what our country stands for.

My uniform is a symbol of duty and valor both in peace and in war.

I take up arms to defend what all Americans hold dear: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Grant me the strength to live according to these ideals, the courage of my convictions, and the resolve to endure whatever dangers threaten.

With you at our side I fear no evil and resist every enemy, secure in the knowledge that you hold me in the palm of your hand.  Amen.
